The La Liga TOTS squad will be next up, then it will be time for one of the most popular sides to be released – the Ligue 1 TOTS.
We’ve assembled our Ligue 1 TOTS predictions, and despite PSG dominating in the league, we’re hoping to see a variety of clubs present in the squad.
Latest – Not Long Now
The Ligue 1 TOTS squad will bring us some of the best players of the promo, but we’ve still got a little wait before that happens.
We expect to see the squad released on Friday, 27 May at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with SBC and Objective players coming at the same time.
It will replace the La Liga TOTS in packs, joining the Liga NOS, Super Lig and Belgium Pro League TOTS squads for a short time, before they rotate out.
Walter Benitez (OVR 89)
Nice have only conceded 23 goals in the league this season, with Walter Benitez keeping the most clean sheets so far, with 12.
He also has the best save percentage of any goalkeeper to play more than 10 games, so we’re backing Benitez to get rewarded for his stellar season.
Jonathan Clauss (OVR 92)
Johnathan Clauss is a FUT favourite, and as a very attacking right-back it is easy to see why.
He has the fourth-most assists in the league so far, with nine, which is pretty good going for a defender.
You could argue he plays more of a right-midfielder role, which would explain his four goals this season too!
Marquinhos (OVR 96)
The first PSG player on our list (and not the last), Marquinhos is an ever-present at the back for the side.
He is classy and commanding, captaining his side to what looks like another league title.
Achraf Hakimi (OVR 94)
Ok, it’s a bit of a cheat going for another right-back, but PSG new boy Achraf Hakimi would be another inclusion that would please the FUT community.
He got off to a flying start for PSG, with three goals and two assists in his first seven games, but has since only contributed another couple of assists.
Nevertheless, the threat he provides the side with can’t be overlooked.
Aurelien Tchouameni (OVR 91)
One of many young French prospects, Aurelien Tchouameni has been solid for Monaco all season.
He has seen three Team of the Week inclusions this season, so a Team of the Season nod will surely be next.
Benjamin Bourigeaud (OVR 90)
Rennes are on the charge at the moment, helped out massively by the form of Benjamin Bourigeaud.
He is currently on the join second-most assists in the league, with 10, and has six goals to his name too.
His 88 chances created are also the most in the league, so expect to see him involved in the TOTS.
Dimitri Payet (OVR 90)
Another assist machine, with nine so far, Dimitri Payet is also creating the most chances per 90 minutes of any player in the league.
He has matched the assists with nine goals too, and Marseille will need him to keep firing if they hope to secure Champions League football next season.
Kylian Mbappe (OVR 98)
Joint second-most assists with 10, third top scorer with 15, Kylian Mbappe will be the first name on the TOTS list.
He has provided the winning goal in eight games so far this season, more than any other player.
If PSG is to lose him at the end of the season it will be a massive loss, as he is irreplaceable.
Wissam Ben Yedder (OVR 92)
Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder is the current top scorer this season, with 17 goals, although Rennes Martin Terrier is just behind him on 16 (with Mbappe just behind that on 15, as mentioned).
It could be between Ben Yedder and Terrier for the place, but we’re backing Ben Yedder, who also has four assists compared to none for Terrier.
The Monaco man has an astonishing 45% goal conversion record, much higher than anyone else in the league.
Lionel Messi (OVR 99)
You didn’t think he was going to miss out, did you?!
Of course, Lionel Messi will be included in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.
Sure, he may not have hit the mind-bending numbers that we’re used to from his LaLiga days, but he has also been out injured for spells.
Despite that, he is still the leagues leading assister, with 11 in 18 games.

The great thing about the Team of the Season event is it is not limited to an XI, meaning we should get around 20 Ligue 1 players released!
